Air Berlin Topbonus Benefits on VA International

Hi there,

I have been struggling to find a definitive answer on either AB or VA websites. Do Air Berlin Golds get extra luggage allowance on international Virgin Australia flights?

More specifically, could one book a trans Tasman fare without included luggage and receive one checked bag?

I am AB Gold only used it for domestic VA flights but extra luggage should extend to international as for the free bags on Go fares i'm not sure but it should as VA Silver/Gold/Plat do
