Advice please - EK metal, QF flight number

I'm flying SYD-LHR-SYD with the family over Xmas. Outbound is on QF metal, QF flight number; return is EK metal, QF flight number. I'm QFF SG.

My question is whether to check in at the EK or QF counters at LHR. If either is acceptable, which check in offers the better chance of benefits (upgrades, fast-track passes etc)? Do I get a choice between the LHR Emirates and BA Galleries lounges, or am I restricted to the EK lounge given we are on EK Metal (albeit with a OW flight number).

At LHR you would check-in at the EK counters.

You won't have access to the BA Galleries lounge as the flight is not marketed and operated by oneworld. You will have access to the EK lounge.
