My first trip through Adelaide airport in at least 2 years.
Wow what an improvement!

The QC is huge and the airport is very modern and clean.
Possible could do with some of those flat travelators for the long distances,
but overall its quite impressive.

I was impressed for domestic as well when I went to ADL for a couple of meetings.

The main issue is that there is no airside QP for int'l pax :(

But to be honest, there are very few opportunities for QF passengers to make an air-side international transit at ADL. QF81 was one opportunity, but the time on the ground for that flight is short anyway, so not a big deal.

ADL makes a good place for Domestic-International transfers. You use the Qantas Club until just before boarding begins, at which time the announce the flight and the imigration/security queue is short.

But there is a (little) CX seating area with no amenities apart from some chairs and tables... ;)

I was wondering about the International bit.....
If immigration is fast it shouldn't matter.

Not just QF pax. The CX crowd can make use of the nice QP and then again in MEL as well :).
Let's face it, with a max 2 OW international flights a day from ADL, outbound immigration queues are not going to be onerous - such is life in a big country town. :p

Don't forget the non-OneWorld flights, including NZ, MH and SQ! But you are right, the queues are not a problem if you time the Qantas Club departure properly. Note there is often only one immigration queue and one security screening point operating.

Yeah, well aware of the 'efficiencies' that ADL international uses for departure. Star, with the Silver Kris lounge on Airside, have the advantage there. <thinks> What do MH use for Biz Pax? One assumes the Blue Lounge, but I've never really checked.
