AA Check in

I have 8+ hours from arriving in LAX on seperate PNRs (FJ from AKL to AA to Belize). Does anyone know if:

A) FJ will check me all the way through so I can drop bags past customs in LAX to save me lugging them up to the AA F counters or

B) Will AA accept bags 8+ hrs in advance?

A) I'd be surprised if they do.

B) Yes, as long as it's same day. There are some exclusions where bags can only be checked four hours prior to departure, but LAX is not one of those ports. I've checked bags more than 8 hours before (early arrival, check the bags in, and then head into Santa Monica for lunch before heading back to the airport late afternoon).
