Hi All,

Does DJ fly this plane on PER flights only or do they do others? e.g. SYD-MEL vv

Thanks,
K.

Only PER.

They used to do a SYD-MEL, however they dropped this in place of making all MEL - PER A330

I've been hoping that they might use them on a new PER-AUH route. The interior fit out of them is clearly intended for international routes, so I suspect that as they get more aircraft those will go onto a variety of international routes.

Have done PER-MEL on an F-100, maybe something to look forward to with the Skywest buyout. No IFE..

Will be interesting to see what VAH's new shareholder SQ thinks about them expanding into Asia
(albeit recognising that the International operations are in a separate structure)

To put a spin on things, VA only have orders at the current time for the replacement of old airframes (B738). There is nothing else... ;)

Everyone's holding their breath for the Asian expansion. A lot of blue faces I think, especially as they are quite well covered with their Asian partner, SQ. I'm not saying it won't happen, just saying I don't think it's happening anytime soon. Aircraft deliveries is one reason, but I actually think sewing up the domestic market first is the major one.
