Hi Guys,

Got a layover in Singapore for just over 9 hours this coming Friday. Land at 21:40 and head off at 07:10 the next day.

Any killer restaurants in Singapore that would be open from like 23:00 onwards on Friday night?

Don't mind paying big bucks if it's going to be an awesome experience.

Side note, myself and father, so nothing too romantic please.

Cheers.

One of the best is Tetsuda's Waku Ghin but they only have two sitting times and 11pm isn't one of them... I can't think of too many "killer" restaurants that would accept an 11pm table.

Jumbo Seafood is something of a quintessential Singapore experience and takes last orders at 11.40PM. Some good food and cold beer on the Singapore waterfront at ECP could well be the best "killer" experience you can get with little effort. Hardly fine dining, their Chilli or Pepper Crab is messy but delicious.

If you want to try something a little different,Xioalongbao Steamboat Buffet at $18.80++ until midnight

For more a western option, Forham & Grand is one of the few full menu options open until 3AM

I suspect you will need to settle for good food at reasonable prices as being the best option that late at night.

Lots of great Dining places at Clark Quay that should be well and truly open at 2300.

I always enjoy East coast Seafood center (including the Hawker Center - East coast Food Village) Its along the coast road by the lagoon, plenty of times I have eaten at the seafood center / Food Village and then afterwards kick back with a few beers watching the water skiing on the lagoon...then perhaps a walk along the coast...

Easy to kill a few hours and not too far from the Airport, not sure if you can get a feed there after 11pm though...

Clarke Quay has some excellent restaurants and some great "pubs" as well. The place can get a bit crowded on a Friday night. The "Hot Stones" restaurant was great last time there. Order from the menu & self cook at your table. There is not much public transport in Singapore after midnight so be aware that you may have to que for a taxi after midnight. I have seen some long lines at the taxi ranks. I stay regularly at the Merchant Court and can vouch that the place becomes popular & often gets loud at night.

Tippling Club is one of the best dining experiences I've ever had in Singapore. If you like out-there, inventive dishes you'll love it. Aussie Chef at the helm, who's been killing it for years:

They're also sort of a bar, so open until midnight. Not sure when food service stops, but worth a look (they've recently moved to a bigger premises - haven't been, but I'm sure the food is just as good).

For anyone who remembers Der Raum in Melbourne, it's basically the dining equivalent (the two are related).

Cheers,
