2019 Status Update

Marriott have finally updated my status for 2019. Their cancellation policy was released 5 days ago but I'm yet to see any guidance on status earn or extension for this year?

Nothing to date from what I can see in terms of correspondence.

I requalified for Ambassador. Only 28 nights YTD with none until at least May/June. Surely, given the US shutdown Marriott will have to come out with some type of status extension program.

Marriott have announced that status will be extended until February 2022.

I received an email this morning confirming this.

Points expiry has also been paused until February 2021.

I also got the email this morning. Handy for me as I got platinum status last year. Though not sure when I will be able to utilise it!

I think it was targeted. Some of us have double nights for any stays booked between April and June 30.
