This isn't so much a trip report but a log of trips and airlines I have taken in 2016. All flights were in Y class except for one upgrade to J and one to Premium economy upgrade.

My domestic departures from Australian and NZ airports were: MEL - 8 HBA - 1 LST - 1 ADE - 7 ASP - 1 AYQ - 7 CNS - 8 SYD - 8 BNE - 11 AKL - 4 ZQN 4

My overseas trips were -

BNE - SYD - BKK - CNX - BKK - SYD - BNE

BNE - SYD - JNB - LVI - JNB - DOH - DXB - IKA - SYZ - IKA - SHJ - DXB - LHR - DUB - MAD - SCL - IPC - SCL - SYD - BNE

This was a One world Explorer 140,000 points with a few added side trips.

BNE - DXB - IEV - ODS - KIV - IST - ATH - OPT - DOH - DXB - BNE

BNE - HKG - BKK - CNX - BKK - SGN - KUL - OOL

Some very interesting experiences along the way the highlights were South Africa, Iran, Easter Island, Ukraine and Moldova.

In 2016 I flew these airlines:

QANTAS, QANTAS Link, Jetstar, Air NZ, Air Asia, NOK Airlines, Qatar, Emirates, Air Dubai, Turkish Airlines, Air Iran, Ryan Air, TAM, Iberia, British Airways, Bangkok Airways, Air Arabia, Air Moldova, Mahon Air, Flymotorsich

The most dysfunctional airports were Kiev Zhuliany and Chisinau Moldova. Worst immigration by a long shot was Ukraine where I spent 20 hours trying to clear immigration and had to sleep in an empty airport. Zambia was awfully slow as well with a handwritten visa system. I stayed at Airbnb's the majority of nights and had a wonderful time and met some great people especially in Ireland.

I didn't have any long flight delays or mishaps though that was amazing considering the age of the Flymotorsich aircraft from Kiev to Odessa. The aircraft in Iran were rather old as well.

All in all a big travel year and 2017 is shaping up to be somewhat similar.
