2 pax on one PNR one 'fly ahead' other stay on original flight?????

Hi Guys,

Just wondering your thoughts to see if it would be possible if 2 pax who are on the same PNR but only one pax utilises the 'fly ahead'. Both Pax are DJ Gold and both are in J.

I need to go down early for a meeting but wife not keen to travel early.

Was planning to OLCI and therefor each have boarding passes for original flight but me just turn up to lounge in am and ask to fly ahead. Wife just turn up for original flight.

Thoughts???

If needing to go early, the travel ahead" is on a seat available basis so there's a risk you'll be stuck to your original flight.

You could always ring VA and ask the hypothetical?

Having inserted disclaimer, they should be able to move you only.

I had a similar scenario - although not quite fly ahead. I had to fly on a certain day, and the other person on the booking had to fly later. I rang the call centre and they split the booking onto two PNR's and it was all sorted in 10 minutes.

This would be my suggestion also. Split into 2 PNR's and go from there. Guaranteed to keep you both happy that way.

It would have to be split into 2 PNR's is one of you flies ahead at a different time, it's not possible to have 2 people on the one PNR on different flights.
