Hello

Due to some poor luck, it looks like work travel will leave me a frustrating 180-200SC short of making SG for the first time.

I'm currently based out of CBR/SYD and my renewal date is end of April.

I'm trying to work out if it is worth getting SC. Is anyone able to give me an idea of how much it would cost to get those final 180-200SC to get SG?

Edit: I'm guessing even on a very favourable rate of $4/SC, I'm looking at $720, which means it is probably not worth it as that is approximately the cost of a non-corporate QC membership and, while they are by no means equivalent, they have similar benefits. And I could get a corporate QC membership through AFF for far less.

In truth, 200 SCs is a fair way short of QF SG. If you don't anticipate travelling much internationally in the next year, getting a corp QP membership through AFF would be the way to go.

Yeah, that was my thinking too. Thanks.
