Theoretically this is for MLC customers but there doesn't seem to be anywhere that they check. 15% economy, premium economy and business class when booking through ba.com for flights to SIN and LHR.

British Airways

Good find...but then when I did a dummy booking- it doesnt seem to give the full 15% discount..........................

We get the same through work ee scheme, so the recent 2 4 1 J class was $12k not the $14k per the QF promotion.
$6000 each for a J class SYD-LHR-SYD was good value I thought.

Somewhat related: Just stumbled across Gourmet Traveller 15% offer on BA Flights ex SYD to UK/Europe, not sure if anyone can use it.

BA is doing less 15% for anyone it seems. Our work scheme has just been extended again. Good thing is the 15% is on top of any sale fare they have AFAIK

Re: BA 15% Discount

I used the MLC Portal last September to book cheap return PE flights to London, back then I got all of the sectors on QF metal on BA code shares and saved myself about 50% on QF PE prices. The Portal had a re-vamp around December/Jan and offers much less flexibility and code share options and if they do they are pretty expensive.

For some reason it will discount the fares within a 3 month period any booking made outside of this window do not seem to get the 15% discount. I actually notified BA about this via a complaint to their marketing department about false representation of products, head nothing back.

The GourmetBA code seems to work well. Im in the market to book flights to LHR, but for some reason Flight Center have found me better fare options than the standard advertised on BA even with the 15%

Re: BA 15% Discount

I was playing around with this and found that if you use the BUPA offer and also the Gourmet discount code, you can double dip. It is a bit tricky, it seems that the BUPA offer only extends to 30 June and only works for BA flights, not for any of the code shares. On PE and J is it a significant saving.

I just tried this out of interest on a SYD-LHR-NCL flight and I got the following:

Sorry, GOURMETBA may not be used in conjunction with some discounted fares. Please refer to the promotors rules.

For reference, I was looking at Y+ seats.

Re: BA 15% Discount

I tried too and I couldn't get it to work either. It does work for some onward destinations, for example, I had tried SYD-LHR-EDI and it worked. I tried just looking at just SYD-LHR rtn and the Y+ for 01 June/22 June works out at $2898 with the BUPA fare and then another $434 off for the Gourmet discount, giving a total of $2463.

Re: BA 15% Discount

That's about the same as QF one way.
Might have to find a current TR on BA's 777 new PE product & check the seat map.
The old PE wasn't very highly regarded.
I see from a dummy booking there's an offer to upgrade to Club for $2.1k each way (but no extra coupon discount?).
There's some code shares with some QF or CX sectors as well.
