Am I the only person made dizzy trying to understand the Woolworths Everyday Rewards links with other programs?

I have all my Everyday Rewards points set to transfer to Qantas.
I generally buy fuel based on price, and in my area that's often a BP, so yay, more Qantas points (direct, not through Everyday Rewards).

But I can also earn Everyday Rewards At Ampol and EG Ampol, can't I, which will eventually convert to Qantas points.

Sometimes the fuel discounts frmo supermarket shopping make the big chain service stations (Ampol and Coles) cheaper than the competitors. should also be able to use my 4c Woolworths discount at EG Ampol, though last (and it was also the first time in years!) time I tried to use it at Ampol, it didn't happen. Maybe this was because I used my NRMA membership discount too and they don't "stack"? (When it comes to Coles/Flybuys/Virgin, you can stack discounts (Linkt and Flybuys being the ones I use).)

Then add on the layer of trying to understand which discounted gift cards you can use where, and managing different accounts within your household to try to optimise "spend X on fuel, get X00 bonus points" :)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

You can use your 4c discount at EG stations and get points.
You can get points at Ampol stations (but no 4c).

You can tell EG and Ampol apart by looking at the massive sign - if it says “EG” and 4c discount - it’s EG. If its says “AMPOL” it’s Ampol.

BP has nothing to do with Everyday Rewards so it doesn’t really add to the confusion. :)

Yes, you can earn QFF points through BP and Ampol. But one involves Everyday Rewards and the other doesn’t.

BP is a direct partner of Qantas through being a QFF partner. Everyday Rewards has nothing to do with BP

Ampol is an indirect Qantas partner through the Everyday Rewards program which gives you the option to convert ER points to QFF points.

Thanks.

I think the Everyday Rewards app and website are ambiguous about the fuel discount. So in effect, I can't stack NRMA and Woolworths discounts, dammit. Last night I got diesel for 185.9 in Goulburn NSW by stacking Flybuys and Linkt. Could have got it for 183.9 but that service station is awkward to get to.and out of again.

I've only recently started using EDR a bit.morr, because I couldn't get their app or website to work - I couldn't log in. Password reset said it was sending me an email message which never arrived. I finally but the bullet and sat in the queue for their online chat. They solved the mystery. I had an email address on file, but not a mobile number. I had also opted out of email marketing, so when their two-factor authentication tried to send me an email to reset the password, the opt-out overrode and stopped it from being sent. Bizarre programming!

You get the 4c discount (from spending $30+ at woolworths) at both.
You get an extra 4c per L fuel discount for spending $5 at the stations store at one and not the other.

And this is why I am confused. But maybe the 4c discount from shopping at Woolworths doesn't "stack" with the NRMA discount at Ampol?

In Vic, you can 'stack' the 4c WW discount with RACV 5c discount at EG stations, and get the everyday reward points.

Similarly at Shell, you can 'stack' the AFL 4c with Coles 4c and get flybuys points also.

Just a bit annoying flipping through different apps...

Ah okay. It seems 4c at Ampol is at “participating stations” which seems to be none in Victoria or at least none around me.

I therefore retract my initial reply to the OP saying its not confusing. 🤣
