Virgin Australia and passenger slammed over in-flight business class act

Reading the article in full ;

1. The person affected (or her mother) did not report the issue to the FA or CSM.
2. The person affected claims that she did not complain because of "severe anxiety" and she was within earshot of the toe person. Why not walk over to the FA at the galley and make a complaint? Those working in customer facing industry are trained to approach, handle and neutralise such awkward situations. There would be no way the toe person would know that this person made the complaint
3. ".. called VA the moment switched off flight mode" - you did not have to endure that for the duration of the flight. You could've simply made a complaint. Giving the pax the benefit of doubt - I'm not sure what circumstances were onboard, but, in hindsight, a quiet complaint would have made it better.
4. VA offered $100 compensation - I'd say, for your inaction, you are paid $100 - take the money and run!

No need; see section 15:

I would consider the action described as disturbing/offensive.

Interesting then…. Clearly that should have been explained by them…

From the article she endured it for all of 60 seconds! Absolute storm in a tea cup this.

Would anyone dare having a deep indepth look at the leg tho.
Gross as it is.
That could have put the person from behind "off" if the person in front did make a fuss, or had taken a fetish"tic" look at the foot.
There are some people who get their kicks out of weirding people out, other who get their kicks from being weird themselves...
Seriously tho, is the gap in the VA737-800 J cabin that wide, to be able to put a food through?

Well, what kind of food are you thinking of passing forward is the question 😉

Exactly ... after first reading the article I reread it a couple of times, then checked the link url, thinking it may have been from the Beetoota Advocate.
well you gotta admit here in australia a huge majority of the population doesn't takes their news seriously so no need for betoota diary (news.com and sky news ). for abc news article which is more on the serious side it a lot of it is headline of something trivial or headline of something absurd like nation celebrates wallaby being born in zoo. then insert portrait of stern mans face (too stern for the australia larrikin spirit but hey need to be professional and journalistic). then insert traditional name of the land on where we stand before present after. dont forget to include depression link if one of the words in the article mentions depression or reach out if news article make people distressed. Love watching The World This Week the credits song as I feel I was stepping back in time and watching a national geographic documentary. First time i watched it i thought they were going to do a world documentary on different cultures and festivities around the world. And one of my favourite pastimes is watching "Planet" America and watching two Australian uncles sitting beside the campfire and laughing at Donald Trump/Biden/US politicians and I would enjoy my wine and laugh myself silly until I fall asleep in my sofa. Would love to see their take on "Planet" Australia to see what the rest of the world thinks of us
🤣 🤣
