Thanks Juddles. It's booked through Qantas, with a QF airline code, but is not 'operated by'.

Baggage Allowance first operated by AA, then Qantas

Hi. I'm a Qantas FF, and have booked a business class flight back to Melbourne. The first leg is operated by AA. On Qantas's site it says I can check in 3 bags for free if they operate it, but I'm not sure if that applies to AA. Does anyone know? Thanks!

    Which program should I join?

Thanks for the help! It will be Biz class, and i'm guessing I will need to be doing it for 2 years, so I'm hoping to get lifetime silver and possibly lifetime gold out of this. I'll look at AA and Qantas's to see which program is better. the skybeds do sound nice.

    Which program should I join?

Hi. I've recently got a new job where I need to fly to the US every 2nd month. I was wondering if people can recommend getting United/Star Alliance points or Qantas ones?
