I wouldn’t take the amex rejection to heart. They seem to be the harshest on churners at the moment. As someone else said, virgin is Citi, so you’ve only really been rejected by Citi. In future try and be a bit more mindful of who is issuing the white label products.

Yep the only solution is government intervention. No airline is going to refund anything other than the minimum unless they’re required to.

How long after reaching points club plus does it usually take for Qantas club membership to be issued? I hit PC+ about a week ago and can see PC+ in my Qantas app but nothing about Qantas club. I can also see I still have my pleb 23kg baggage allowance for my next flight.

Of course this would happen while I’m waiting for the bonus points to be credited!
