China Airlines reward seats using Qantas points

Yes, cash ticket booked via QF, so I have a QF booking reference number and a QF codeshare flight number. Originally, I was going to book it direct with CI, since as you mention, seat selection is available, however, I couldn't earn QF points if I booked it with CI. Interesting that you have...

China Airlines reward seats using Qantas points

Mine is a cash ticket and in economy. Perhaps they only offer seat selection for business. Or perhaps only for reward tickets.

I just checked again, as I have the same issue. QF seat selection still unavailable for my June flight via the QF app/website. Czech Airlines website also still not allowing me to select a seat.

I used my QF booking reference and surname on the Czech Airlines website, it only displays it with the QF flight number.

China Airlines reward seats using Qantas points

The Czech Airlines seat booking route isn't working for me. It shows all seats as unavailable currently. My flight isn't for a while, so I'll keep checking closer to the date.

China Airlines reward seats using Qantas points

Does anyone know if QF or CI's baggage policy applies on QF booked tickets? I'm looking at an economy ticket. QF says 30kg allowance, CI, however, the allowance is 2 x 23kg bags. I'm assuming since it's a direct CI plane both ways the CI policy would apply?

Intl to Dom Transit - SYD vs BNE

Which is a better transfer experience? I have done SYD before and hate it, but I have an option via BNE too. I'd be flying to MEL.

Earning QF Points on China Airlines Flights

Thanks for the info. The prices are now almost the same on CI or QF's websites, before CI was much cheaper than QF.

Earning QF Points on China Airlines Flights

I currently live in TPE and am looking at return flights on China Airlines (TPE>MEL>TPE). Do I need to book on the QF website to earn points? Or can I book directly with China Airlines (cheaper) and still earn QF points? The QF website says this: An article from 2019 on AFF says: Since the...

Digital Passenger Declaration to Replace Incoming Passenger Card

I am trying to fill out the DPD, but it will not show the AKL>SYD...

Future of QF27/28 travel post covid

This is very common in Chile. I have lived here for the past 5 years and it's very difficult to pay online for anything with an international card. Sometimes I have been able to do it with LATAM in the past, other times not. My most recent booking SCL>SYD, it would not allow me to use my...

Future of QF27/28 travel post covid

Slightly off topic, but hoping someone might have information. I am booked on LA801 SCL>SYD on June 23. I was wanting to move my date forward to June 19, however, the flight is sold out. When I checked Google Flights, the flight on the 19th is still bookable, but only with a QF codeshare number...
