Did Amex remove “loss” as a valid reason from the platinum 90 day purchase protection insurance?

Oh that's great to hear, I might try to submit one anyway and see what happens. When was this? And did you have to submit a police report or anything? I definitely know mine wasn't stolen so no point in me filing a report lol

Did Amex remove “loss” as a valid reason from the platinum 90 day purchase protection insurance?

Sorry should have said that I have lost something else again recently that falls within the 90 days. You're correct that it has always been 90 days, but I swear it used to cover loss as well, not just theft and damage. Would be interesting to see the old version of the PDS to confirm this has...

Did Amex remove “loss” as a valid reason from the platinum 90 day purchase protection insurance?

I lost an item that I paid for with my platinum card a few years ago and through the insurance I was able to get it reimbursed so that I could buy another one. But I was reading the terms just now and the purchase protection wording seems to have changed from “loss, theft, or damage” to just...

Amex "I'm going to cancel my card" - bonus points given thread.

Nice one. Did you have to cancel it, be read the terms, and then have it reinstated? Or they offer it to you without that? I feel like they wouldn't offer that many points to keep it if you still had it under the no annual fee deal

Just got 200k for my Platinum Charge (last year was 120k). For reference I used to put upwards of $100k> per year spend on the card but that has dropped to <$20k over the past 12 months. Still have Platinum Reserve linked to it with the no yearly fee + $400 Travel Credit deal. So am a bit...

$10 off paying bills with Sniip (this platform lets you earn full Amex points)

Sniip are offering $10 credit on your first bill payment. I use their app to pay bills and the ATO with my Amex card and still get full points. Though there is a 1.5% fee to use it so only makes sense if you have a high rate card, value your points more than that, or can claim the fee on tax My...

Plat referral offer 3x bonus points - when does it start?

Sent payment to the ATO via Sniip lol. Can confirm that points are automatically crediting after the charge is processed. Weirdly it shows up as "Welcome bonus" Note: I paid on the 26th just to be safe and the confirmed charge is showing up as the 25th. So that was a good idea.
