Personally, I didn't like it. So much so that it is the only wine that I have ever sent back to VM. I was really disappointed as 2021 was a great Barossa vintage and I have had some very good Hewitson wines in the past. VM were great when I sent it back to them for a refund though.

The Ulithorne Paternus. I bought a couple of them yesterday with the $30 voucher, thanks to Chonka. Works out to be $20.50 a bottle in a 6 pack. I found it to be a quality drop, but you need to let it breathe for a while. I reckon it will be a cracker in a few years time.

I bought the 2019 Schoolhouse and decanted it for three hours. At a blind test amongst mates, it rated very highly. The remaining 5 bottles are going to sit in the cellar for a few years. I have bought the 2014's without hesitation. I have also bought the RSR's and are quite a fan of those...

As a lover of SA Shiraz and reds style in general, the Mt Langi is one of my favourite Vic reds and is a great drop indeed. I'm pretty sure the 2004 is not going to get any better, but I'd imagine it would still be good. At $100 a clip, I'd say there is better value found elsewhere though.

You also need to give it a couple of hours to smooth out. As much I like the '17 Shiraz, the '16 Cab Shiraz is amazing.....

I bought 6 of the Zins and 6 of the Cab Savs. The Zin is dark cherry with a touch of age to it. I found it very smooth and easy to drink. Depending how it has been stored, it should be drunk sooner rather than later, but should be very pleasant to drink. I paid $50/bottle for them about 12...

Yes, I have had quite a few of these. They are ready to drink now though, if that is what it is. I actually preferred this to their Cab Sav.
