Has anybody received the Form 1099INT from Amex about interest earned on their Business Checking account, or for any bank bonuses received? Looking for any tips on how to go about filing it as this also helps keep the ITIN active.

Not long enough to generate FICO. I wouldn’t recommend upgrading within 12 months as that puts you at the risk of having SUB clawed back. If you do, make sure you have discussed it with Amex beforehand.

You can’t normally apply for more than 1 card through GT, although there are exceptions. If you have a FICO score, then the future cards don’t need to go via GT route. Remember to use the personal referral link from someone around here, friend or family member, if/when you do.

There's plenty in life that don't make sense, the smart thing to do is to navigate around it rather than fight it. I'd say your chances of approval will go up markedly without the $300K LOC

Good to see Amex offer 50, 100, even 200k points in retention bonus, for whatever reason I only ever seem to be offered 30k points. On the plus side, I have never NOT received a bonus. Another one of my annual fee posts in a week, see how that goes.

Do you have a FICO? You can only normally get 1 card via GT, more once you generate FICO which can take anywhere between 4-10 months.

Do not rely on the T-mobile shop in the arrival hall at LAX. This is not a normal T mobile outlet and only sell very pricey sims (cheapest was $35/day if I remember correctly). Go into the town and do it if you can.

Bought some at about 8 am & still unable to use. When I try to pay with them it says insufficient balance. I checked the balance on colesmastercardbalance.com.au it shows full $250 value remaining on the card. Anyone else had a similar issue?

You cannot. None of the credit bureau accept ITIN, unless you send them your ID through snail mail.

From my experience, the spend must be made on or before the expiry date. It does not matter when it posts.

Over the phone. Select Option 6 for cancellation which takes you straight to the retention team rather than wasting time with CS reps. It's not always about the spend you put on the card as I haven't put a cent on it for months.
