Reciprocal lounge access In New Zealand

Sounds like neither AirNZ or QF have got their cough together with this one.. would be good if both actually sent an email to all lounges informing them of this.. But that would be hard work!

Reciprocal lounge access In New Zealand

What is interesting is that the system is not allowing QF into the lounges, which says to me this is an Air New Zealand system failure.... so why is QF not chasing this up?

Reciprocal lounge access In New Zealand

Well, an interesting development. Just got a reply from Qantas and they state “With our codeshare agreement with Air New Zealand, they have only agreed for our Platinum members to gain access in to their lounges.” So there it is, not sure if air New Zealand gold gets lounge access in Aussie or...

Reciprocal lounge access In New Zealand

Yep, flew domestic within NZ then transferred at Christchurch to Qantas for flight to Melbourne. All purchased thru Qantas with QF codeshare flight number. I’ll send a query to AirNZ and Qantas for clarification. Cheers all!

Reciprocal lounge access In New Zealand

When the codeshare arrangement was released to the media in ausBT mag, lounge access was supposed to be part of the arrangement for both QF and AirNZ gold and above in their respective countries...

Reciprocal lounge access In New Zealand

Even the staff were saying they were surprised Qantas Gold etc weren’t admitted when it was first introduced.. and they read through all the rules just to make sure..

Reciprocal lounge access In New Zealand

Yep, which is why I questioned the ground staff.. they looked in to it when the code share arrangement started and were surprised qantas members didn’t get lounge access in Koru lounges, just thru ticketing arrangements..

Reciprocal lounge access In New Zealand

Sorry, meant QF gold.. lol. Interestingly enough I took a regional flight today ticketed with a QF number and on to a trans Tasman flight and it was a big ‘denied’ to Air New Zealand lounge access... from both ground staff and electronically..

Reciprocal lounge access In New Zealand

Hi. I am interested in the newish codeshare between Air New Zealand and Qantas. Does anyone know if QA gold gets reciprocal access to koru lounges in New Zealand when flying Qantas codeshare flights as part of a connecting flight to an Australian destination? AusBT was reporting last year we had...

Qantas First Class "Nothing more than a premium business class"

Interesting the takes on QF 1st and business.. Have flown QF business A330 and and the 787, I found it to be comfortable without being over the top (both new suites). Emirates business was less private, the 2-2-2 setup wasn't the best for access to the window seat, but they still had the...

    PGR Program

The only reason I say forget PGR is that for stays in Rydges, there seems to be a concerted effort to ignore GHA black and go with PGR instead. I have found that with a few Rydges now and the last one specifically said they could only see PGR status and that it pretty much didn't matter about...

    PGR Program

I would forget PGR unless you want to work towards free nights. GHA black is much more useful when it comes to perks, upgrades, experiences, early / late checkouts, general treatment. All PGR gives you are free nights (if available) and maybe a free drink or two with slightly discounted food and...

QF16 LA to BNE Business Class review

Recently I flew LA to Brisbane on the new Dreamliner that had just gone into service for this route. I was pleasantly surprised at how good I felt after the nearly 14 hr flight. I regularly fly Qantas domestically and somewhat internationally and have usually had pretty good service. This was...

Baggage allowance for oneworld on AA domestic

Yes, I understand this. My query is that as I am travelling first (or business class) I already get 2 free checked bags and being sapphire you usually get an extra bag for free. If I flew economy, I would get 2 bags anyway being sapphire, so no extra benefit for flying first (or business) with...

Baggage allowance for oneworld on AA domestic

Hi I am a week away from travelling Las Vegas to Los Angeles on American Airlines, then on a separate award ticket (unavailable from LAS unfortunately) on to Adelaide, via Brisbane and wondered if anyone understood the baggage allowances on AA for Qantas Gold (One world Sapphire) members. I am...
