Rang up this morning, before 7am, sounded like the Philippines call centre where the operator was only too happy to link my Explorer card to acsent program, did it on the spot with all points transferred across then and there

I applied mid Jan and starting spending on the card late Jan

I've got an existing Plat Edge card and my Explorer bonus points posted last night, so systems may not of been updated....

my experience seems to be bit different. I'm an existing Plat edge card holder, applied for the explorer and it came linked to Ascent. Rang up and spoke to CSR in Philipines and requested the delink from Ascent to Gateway, they submitted the request and said it would take a few days to process...

How long did it take for bonus points to post?

Re: Amex "I'm going to cancel my card" bonus given thread. Was offered 25k velocity points when I rang to cancel my platinum velocity card. Initially was offered the downgrade to escape card.

Found article on head for points saying come September amex in USA will end pro rata refunds of annual fee could extend to here as well as they standardise global policy.. Haven't qualified yet to post links...
