In case anyone else is a Zinfandel tragic like myself, I got a call from my VM broker today letting me know that they have received some extra stock of the Churchview St Johns 2014. Whilst not in the same league as the offering from Cape Mentelle, I like it enough to have picked up an extra case.

Re: Mitolo Cantiniere - First Thoughts Keeper for me. It is good (but not fantastic) value at $20 per bottle. Completely different story if I had paid the $68 RRP, but I think it is better than most of what I would find at the bottleshop in the $20 range.
