I think the point of this is to have customer feedback on whatever the innovation is. It's probably cheaper this way than refurbishing 8 787. But I would have prefer to see all A330 refurbished first.

Rumors on a.net that VH-QPJ will have the Dreamliner interior. Coincidently, QPJ is now on its way from VCV to SYD via KOA and should arrive tomorrow morning, just in time for the 787 presentation...

For what it's worth, this page thinks that QF is going to put the Thompson Cozy Suite on its 787. For those who don't remember the concept: Seat would be 20" wide and pitch would be of 34". Vastly superior to any economy seat out there. Link: "facebook.com/AIRLINESECRETS/posts/1800245470248463"

Well, considering the IFE size is 6.4 inches on -EBL and -EBG and that the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is only 0.7 inch smaller but with a 2 to 3 time higher resolution then yeah, complaints make sense :lol:

While the J isn't too bad on -EBG and -EBL (at least compared to the workbench on other 332), pax in Y still have the joy of spending their entire flight with a gameboy-size IFE. The last time i flew with -EBL, my IFE was only showing black,white and red colors...
