    At the end of the day it doesn't really matter if they sent me 1,000 emails. As I have said previously, Qantas has failed to adequately warn its customers (my mum) and incorrect information was given over the telephone which has resulted in the points expiring.

    Some people working at QFF don't even know who Red Roo is? He has even be referred to as a "fraudster". Seems like Qantas has some communication issues both internally and externally.

    Some road signs are definitely more prominent then others. Stop signs, speed camera signs etc... Maybe a "stop sign" style pop up when doing the family transfer?

    Negotiating tactic - definitely! Without the help of AFF the points would have not been returned, Qantas wasn't going to do anything to help me. I believe you would still have 17 months left before the points expire if the family transfer was done 1 month after you opened a new account.

    Rules, laws, T&C are broken every day. He wasn't even aware that he had 2 accounts until the QFF Rep told him on the phone. The oldest account was closed by the Rep as it had no points and no activity and the other account had the 100,000 transferred from my Mum.

    Just wondering why i need to activate my account? Is it to extend my 100,000 points expiry date for a further 18 months? Red Roo says one thing, QFF tells me they expire in 7 days regardless. Might be wise to get the facts RIGHT before posting on the internet.
