It's quite common for them to do this, you've got to point out the SIM starter costs 8.80RM. Once they asked me to pay 30RM for the SIM... i guess they might pocket the difference? I tried to top up last year and it wouldn't let me using my Aus credit card. So not sure how you are going to do this.

The Sim should cost 8.80RM regardless if for voice or data. (They are the same thing). Then you pay for data on top. 1GB is 30RM and they have a bonus for an additional 500MB at the moment as a promotion for launching their prepaid 4G services.
