    Cancelling non-refundable flights....or not

Hmmm....just checked with Air Asia. Airport tax is refunded with a precessing fee, you're right. In my case, airport tax component of the fares (1 adult, 1 child) was $156, of which I'll receive $106 back as a consequence of $30.00 and $20.00 processing fees for the adult, child respectively...

    Cancelling non-refundable flights....or not

Just wondering what other folks thoughts are on this..... I have a couple of non-refundable flights booked with Air Asia. Seems now that I won't be able to use them. My fault I agree, but they were cheap, I grabbed them during a promo period, but obviously, one of the conditions is that they're...

Using Qantas points for Malaysia Airlines flights

Anyone had any experience with this yet? MH flights don't appear on the Qantas website, so need to be booked over the phone. To encourage on-line bookings, phone bookings incur a $60.00 service fee, or 6000 points!! Fair enough normally, but seems a little unreasonable when it is impossible to...

    Too early too late

Hi, Got a bit of a "too early or too late" dilemma, here... I'm looking at booking a London to KL flight, MH1, that is scheduled to arrive in KL at 5.35pm. I'm already booked on a Singapore to Sydney flight QF6 that departs Sin at 10.25pm the same day. Is 4 hours and 50 minutes enough to get...

    don't get it......

Thanks guys, for all your replys :) I think I may "spread the luggage" and just take carry on, stuff. I understand that MH have just upped their allowance from 20kg to 30kg for Enrich members (which we are) 90kg between 2 adults and 2 kids should be enough I'd think.... Cheers

    don't get it......

Could someone explain this....I don't get it. I need a one-way LHR to KUL with Malaysia Airlines on a specific date. (They seem to have twice daily flights and it has to be the MH1 evening flight, I need to match with three other travel companions). I can't use Qantas points coz I'm told...

    Malaysian Airlines QFF earn table

Strangely enough, I'm an Enrich member from a while back, as are the wife and kids, but I struggle to understand the benefits for an Australian resident who doesn't do a lot of flying around Asia. A few years back I remember between myself and my two kids, we had just enough Enrich points to...

    Malaysian Airlines QFF earn table

Hi... Being relatively new here I've not got a clue what all this stuff is about, but I would be interested to know how many Qantas points I'm going to earn when I fly from Kuala Lumpur to London and back in June this year on Malaysia Airlines. They are "V" class tickets whatever that means...

    Malaysian Airlines QFF earn table

Thanks for that Danger I figured 42K as that's what it is (was?) for London to Singapore, and SIN is a stones throw from KL Though sometimes partner airlines seem to be a little more for some reason. Eg, Syd to HK is 30K with QF but 35K with Cathay Yes Wasim, that's what they said to me....'on...
