I too noticed this has started popping up when booking hotels, particularly Surfers Paradise and on occasion Brisbane. Definitely check the T&Cs. I had HSP booked for Sunday night and just found out I have to have a procedure early Monday in BNE. Thankfully they have cancelled the booking...

I have stayed Gold Coast, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne several times on Govt rate; never been asked for ID. I do work for Govt and usually have my pass with me, but have forgotten it on occasion....

Wow. Not happy if they knew yesterday! They rung me as I was getting out of taxi at airport.... could have had bigger sleep in after big weekend:) least I got airbus to BNE and caught up on sleep

I was going via MEL to BNE so they moved me to direct which is the airbus :) sorry for your flight though. Hope you can sleep...

In BNE lounge bound for Cairns..... could be mistaken for being in gentleman's club with the lack of females :-) surprise the flight keeps getting delayed... only in 5 minute intervals at this stage :-) anyone else in here?
