The flight out of Hong Kong into the Philippines (Clark for onward travel to Subic Bay) I am looking at shows as an award available on QF, but not on BA, JAL or even Asia miles! Not having eaten, I'm sure your right. As to crowded.. It's massive and there is maybe 20 people here, as opposed to the 40 odd staff looking to help. I'm sure it's timing, and I'm sure you are spot on, but from my personal experience only, I'm finding this a much more peaceful/pleasant...

Re post 106, (and the recent discussions) currently sat in the qantas lounge at bne international awaiting my departure. So far, no men with guns have ran in shouting "you only paid 60k for 120k flight"!!! Phew. On the negative, I'd forgotten just how average the qantas j lounge is in...

Oh believe me, I do appreciate it. Must be a system glitch - or they really do have some geographically challenged agents..... The guy offered to check the taxes with the rates desk as he thought 500 was high. Ended up explaining APD to him myself and could not pay quick enough!!!!!
