    What cheeses me off

'63 for me, so I'm a cusper. Was taught both and can work with both 5280, 1768, 16 etc. 6' ... 183cm In 1992, when youngest daughter was born and weighed, the midwife read out 4.6kg ... I immediately said a bit over ten pounds, she looked shocked.

Just when you thought you had seen it all in the Qantas lounge...

That was even true with QP membership until around 1995. Even then it was same day travel (arrivals) access.

Qantas Business Class meals & menus

AKL-SYD Wednesday night. Options were pasta, salad and the chook. Went the chicken. I didn't eat much of the chook ... Tough as old boots ... Rest was fine especially the salad. I had a chicken dish in economy the week before MEL-AKL which was much better.

    SYD F Lounge access

I flew AS out of LAX just a few days ago - had a light lunch in the QF lounge, relaxed for an hour in the Flagship before skipping the T5 AC and heading to the T6 AS Lounge for a short wait before my flight to SEA. (Some interesting beers in AS, but it is small compared to the others.)
