Can the Qantas Melbourne first class checkin be used for domestic flights or is it just for international flights? TIA for replies.

I fly more than 100 QF international flights per year. I doubt that anyone else does more than this on Qantas. I requalify for Platinum within 6 weeks of year start. I can't get an upgrade when I request it a week in advance. What chance does anyone else have?

Tried to book online BKK-MEL with Jetstar and the website only accepts Visa or Mastercard. Rang Jetstar and they confirmed Amex not accepted and so I couldn't do it by telephone either. I prefer to put all of my bookings on Amex.
