US Dividend Miles - Award Booking Questions and General Discussion

Hey guys, I got a question regarding my up coming flights book last year. I have seen some of the recent posts here and on FT about flight number changes by an airline sometimes requires re-ticketing by US and that this is something to potentially be concerned and follow up with. I've had...

US Dividend Miles - Award Booking Questions and General Discussion

Re: US Dividend Miles Buy/Gift Miles 100% bonus - Cheap way for F/J *A Awards So what's the process for getting new flights if the same thing happened on a non-eu flight (I. E. To usa or asia). I'm guessing the EU261 don't apply? Hope it works out for JohnK! It is very stressful to resolve...

they should be able to confirm the Ticket number which should be the same as the Ticket number which shows on the US Airways Manage your Reservation page. something like 037xx_xx_X. the final digit might be different but rest should be the same.and only one ticket number per passenger for all...

Called them tonight, they had both ticket numbers. Don't know why the earlier agent couldn't give it to me, but anyway, all sorted now :)

With US feed back from others here was that the US Airways ticketing number would not show up on any of the online Thai check reservation pages. The only way to confirm if they had a ticket number was to asked by calling them. I think on page 41, someone clarified their Life miles account would...

so MEL, any thoughts on whether my experience today would indicate a missing ticketing number? the TG girl couldnt me a number when I asked (saying I should ring US), but did say that an e-ticket was issued. I might try and call again tonight, see if I can confirm the number.there was a little...

I have the TG booking code, and used this when phoning Thai Airways to confirm the Seat numbers. However the issue is regarding ensuring that Thai Airways actually have a ticket number against the booking (which confirms it has been payed). People here have suggested it is good advice to check...

So just got another successful booking for my parents next year. Relatively simple! SYD-BKK (F) BKK-CDG (F) - Dest CDG-BKK (F) - Stopover BKK-SYD (F) All with TG. mid next year. 150,000 miles each. The booking and everything went fine, but I imagine that would be too be expected with simple...

Thanks guys. Yep F availability for FRA is very limited mid next year. CDG is not too bad in may but nothing in June. Luckily my parents are really flexible so should be able to manage with one or the other. And having simple itinerary such as syd-bkk-cdg (dest)-bkk(stopover)-syd helps!

My parents are keen on Europe next year using some miles from recent promotions. Any difference in flying syd-bkk-fra with TG in F vs Syd-bkk-cdg (Paris) with TG in F? They are both A380s and depart near midnight. Flight to FRA also has the non-a380 departing earlier. Are the departure...

"Enhancements" to MR earn on Platinum Card, Reserve & Centurian

Interesting... i have a Engineers Aus Plat Reserve Card. Just got a letter telling my earn rate will change from 1.5 MR points to the 3/2/1/0.5 structure, from 14 Feb 2013. However i'm pretty sure my actuall earn rate has been some wierd mix (mostly 1 per $1, but 1.5 for foreign...???) since...

US Dividend Miles Buy/Gift Miles 100% bonus - Cheap way for F/J *A Awards

Really? KVS seems to indicate it is around 11,000-12,000 (dont have it on me at the moment. This is when you plug in SYD-LAX in the KVS MPM tool. I dont think going via Asia or some other continent affects the MPM (as per your last post).. isn't it based on the distance between Start Point and...

Not sure on the website, but you can call them (the Thai number) via Skype pretty easily, and the person on the phone can confirm with you.

Imagine trying to tell your friends you turned down F travel because it was a couple hundred bucks more expensive! Do it, probably once in a life time opportunity for a lot of people, will be a good story to tell.

Rang through to US and Asiana as well... all have the same ticketing number, but Thai and Asiana seem to be missing the final digit from the US Airways number, dont know if thats a concern or not.

Good tip. Just confirmed seat numbers with Thai Airways. The ticket number she gave me, said it was a US Airways number (makes sense I guess), was one starting with 037. With 1 number for all flights. I assume the other airlines will have this same number, so it is just a matter of confirming...
