This! Thanks so much … The way I see around this is to cancel the award flight to BNE and buy a cheapie ticket then QF will honour my QR baggage allowance. Unless I’m missing something?

Apologies if this has already been answered - I searched but couldn't find the answer. I am flying from SYD to BNE on QF in Y (at 1100) and then BNE to DOH on QR in J (at 2240) on the same day of travel. Both are award redemption tickets booked separately (therefore different PNR and so on)...

I asked in SIN last week and they said no - was flying First.

I was in the lounge last week and there were no specials available - cue mini violin

How many people have had this issue occur (other than the crazy FF sale of February)?

I’ve been calling every two days … I’ve been told on several occasions now that they can see the reinstatement was sent on 25/02 but still waiting response. Very frustrating.

Sorry to hear that you’ve had the same experience. It’s not fun. At least your tickets are still showing in the app. Mine has completely disappeared! But when speaking to QF yesterday they confirmed that I still have a valid ticket! They said they just need to wait for CX to come back to them …...
