Yes I asked what happens with my upgrade request and she said it had to be re requested and I point out that time of the request affects the process, she said she didn't think so. Kind of just wanted me off the line I think ...... I asked her to check and she later said yes perhaps I was right...

Not sure if this the place but just wondering about the process of getting upgrade, I had upgrade request in some weeks ago for QF2 but on day of the flight today, my booking just disappeared totally gone from my bookings! Rang Qantas they said someone had cancelled my seat and in their words...

Thanks - funny then that it tells you on EF that you should enter your FF details,for better results! Also other replies on another thread have explained the many blocked seats on the fact that my status is too low, how would EF know that if I don't have FF in? :)

Yes expert flyer shows 380 on QF2 seat map has economy seats at back of upper deck, however Expert flyer and seat guru for same flight have no economy in upper deck. With this sort of misinformation how credible is any info on these sites?!

One wonders then, do you ask if any paid upgrades are possible? Or do they just offer that to some lucky person at the right place right time?! and if its not uncool to ask do you do it at checkin or later point?
