    Quick & Easy P1 Requalification

I should login a bit more often. Seems I've missed some insightful commentary, some genuine query and questions and some comments which beg me to question the poster love of flying and all thing FF related. Im not going to respond individually to each post but will add the following. Flying...

    Quick & Easy P1 Requalification

Would be interesting to see the math on how many long haul F flights X 2PAX you will get for your $15k, before facing the gauntlet of availability.

    Quick & Easy P1 Requalification

My travel patterns have changed and the foreseeable future doesn't include enough qualifying flight to meet the QF flight # hurdle for P1, and possibly the total points tally either.

    Quick & Easy P1 Requalification

This is the crux of it. Cost is relative, and given my total travel expenditure for my businesses, $15k is insignificant.

    Quick & Easy P1 Requalification

That is correct, this travel has extended my current P1 beyond 30 April 2018 to include the period of 1 May 2018 to 30 April 2019. The $15000 expense needs to be seen in the context of a 12 month benefit, not 23 months. Thanks for picking it up Bacchus.

    Quick & Easy P1 Requalification

My anniversary date is 30 April, and these flights were taken in the first weeks of my new year. I will have this status for the remainder of this year, plus the next year. It it has always been my understanding that status remains until the end of the next, full membership year.

No questions asked. Used Smart Gates at both ends predominantly, which removes the interaction piece.

    Quick & Easy P1 Requalification

Completely sane. Have worked incredibly hard building my businesses, I enjoy travelling and enjoy the benefits ultra-elite status bring myself, family and friends who have all benefited from time to time. For me, the time I committed to this was semi-productive, balancing mostly work with some...

    Quick & Easy P1 Requalification

Having been WP for more years than I care to remember, and WP1 since inception, I was faced with the very real possibility that my future travel plans with QF over the coming 12 months wouldn't see me requalify for WP1. The status has been beneficial, I like shiny cards and all that goes with...

    Qantas Platinum One experiences?

Mrs Platinum One made a quick trip on Tuesday, MEL-BNE-MEL. It was her birthday and she was less than impressed to travel. She was booked 4A outbound and 5F return. At the MEL QF J Lounge she was upgraded to 2A, much to her delight. Her first op-up ever, and on her birthday to boot! I...

    EK metal, QF Flight Number

I'm currently booking MEL-DXB-GRU return with EK in first. The MEL-DXB-MEL leg are QF metal, QF9/10 respectively. The total price on EK is $13,500, with EK flight numbers. Standalone MEL-DXB-MEL on QF are $17.2k. Unfortunately EK don't codeshare with QF on the Sth American legs so it isn't...

    2017 Centurion Benefits

PDS is very vague regarding this $250 spend requirement. Have sought clarification, but team only available Monday - Friday. Given a domestic trip is defined as greater than 150km, unsure what travel provider would be required to book a 151km domestic road trip. Will update once I've spoken...
