Re-address the baggage issue. One piece at 32 kg for SG, PS & QC? Really? Who's gonna pack that much weight? 2 Pieces at 16 kg each (or 1 at 32kg if you so desire) sounds like a better option to me. Don't penalise us folk who like to take a light suitcase and a bit of sporting equip with us.

Yeah I think the chances are pretty much zero. QF was one of the few remaining airlines in the world that allowed bikes and other approved sporting equip as part of checked baggage. Technically, they still do, you just can't check in a suitcase as well!!!!! A better way (from a FF POV)...

Yep, me too. Usually a suitcase and a bike. My bike bag fully packed with bike, pump,tools and accessories weighs 14kg. So, this new policy means I need to add $105 to the ticket price. Bad policy Qantas.
