We have 2 separate bookings Per to Bne, same flight, selected seats next to each other. Is it worthwhile linking the bookings? Had to do separate bookings to get the $50.

    Europe in Summer 2022

Great trip report. One recommendation: if you ever arrive in Paris at Gare de Lyon again, there is a great raised walkway (old railway line) called Coulée verte René Dumont which is really beautiful near there.

I love rural France as well. There's always some ancient buildings to look at and lovely gardens, countryside and as you say the food! Fresh baguette every morning and fabulous pastries. Reading your trip report (and watching The Tour) has helped the "homesickness"! Bon retour

Loving your TR. Have been to a few of the towns you've visited and so love those markets. Very homesick for France! As an aside: we were in London beginning of June and caught the new Elizabeth line from Heathrow in to Paddington, nice new, shiny train.

Waitlist for Upgrade. Lose Selected Seats?

There's 2 of us. I had chosen 21K&J but 22 K&J would be absolutely great. Nothing shows up in Manage my Booking and still get the "seat selection unavailable" if I go to 'Seats'. Maybe we'll have to wait til the 80 hours before the flight. Any point ringing Qantas?
