My FCO-PER-SYD flight is delayed due to mechanical problems. Now leaving 21 hours later. I’ve been informed I am to submit a claim for incurred hotel and meal expenses. Has anyone been there, done that? What are the thresholds? call centre in Switzerland wasn’t able to prove me any indications.

Wed 03/05 JQ822 SYD/BNE flight cancelled. Offered next day flight. Not suitable for my 88 year old dad who was already stressed about travelling. Found two QF classic award seats and booked us on that. No offer from JQ for any QF flights yet a cancelled VA flight once founds seats on JQ!

Did anyone who signed up to this card receive a random 20,000 credit card bonus? Dropped into my account after the first month's statement in addition to the points earned for normal spend. Hoping this is not the total sign-on bonus and hoping (even more!) that I don't need to call their call...

Ditto to the advice of @pye1201. I've concluded my second call to Qantas for the day. First agent (who wouldn't tell me if she was call centre or check-in staff taking overflow calls) had to revert to a supervisor regarding my query about the validity. Then returns after lengthy exchange trying...

I have just hung up from Qantas re: my OW Classic award booking departing in July. The agent was offering to cancel all segments and put a dummy booking in to 'hold' the ticket as I ultimately will push my trip to depart July 2021 and seats haven't been released yet. Has anyone had this...

So the big question, will QF refund a J-class OW Classic award booking based on the 318k points it would cost me to book it today, or the 280k points it cost me back in Aug 2019?

Should I be in a panic if I have not received updated e-tkts for my bookings by now? Hung up for (what I was hoping was) the final time yesterday at 7.30am. Have only seen taxes for one of the two bookings hit my credit card. (Don't make me call them again *scream*)
