Just thought I'd share, I had no issue getting allocated into row 12 E & F by calling and asking.. (Few months before) I was either NB or had just hit PS. In the end, I didn't actually sit in the seats as I successfully had F seat upgrade requests come through both ways.

Re: QF Op Up Chances? I should add, that I also had 12 e/f in emerald city before as well... Maybe it could have a name change to Ruby Town? ;) Funny, I had no issues grabbing those seats a few months ago.

Yep, sure can. Great amendment to the 30 day membership purchase conditions. $99 for two people for 30 days.. Seems like a good deal to me :)

Re: QF Op Up Chances? When I look at expert flyer today ,there have been no changes to F seat map.. Still wide open.. I thought that F all got allocated seats if confirmed? I have never flown on an A380 so QF93 is a must for me... Not looking good then huh... :(

Just flew CX - both older J product ( 33b) and on way home 33e - new J product. Try to get your flight via SYD to experience the new J product its great. That said, I quite enjoyed the older J, but it doesnt have same luxury feel or space as thew new J.
