Yes indeed, a lone Y passenger who may have priority pass, Amex lounge or willing to pay an entry fee has a better airport departure experience on VA than a top tiered velocity member currently.

Yes indeed, we hope to see VA return to PER - DPS as confident their is a lot of pent up demand & know several FIFO’s / Families keen to return so would be unfair to exclude Perth when other major capitals now have direct DPS services. What a disastrous situation that was with Tigerair!

We loved our recent Fiji trip, certainly easy to travel to now with convenient timings on VA. The FJ lounge was an absolute Gem for 2 hours, great vertical garden wall, similar to QF F lounge.

Certainly seems like a feasible plan that could work well for VA across multiple tourism markets including International travellers visiting the GC & Byron Bay regions. Once the VA flight to DPS starts next April, could be great timing for VA to also expand across the ditch.

Yes it’s fortunate that VA are still operating which continues to provide the mining sector & WA communities with essential flight services. Although QF is still very dominant, I was surprised that VA only had 2 less weekly flights to Kalgoorlie so they certainly have increased frequencies.

The Lite Fare certainly seems to have had a serious downgrade since it’s introduction. A very restrictive ticket now with No Travel Credit option & $80 fee for any flights changes, plus the normal fare difference applicable. This Fee also now charged on Choice fares within 14 days of flight...

No & Bali is a strong market with JQ’s 787’s so offering a little more than a No Frills approach (but less than QF meal service ) maybe required in the future on certain sectors including short haul as this recent review cautions.
