NZ doesn’t have calendar year memberships and they managed to sort it out. As long as QF manage to fix their IT issues and sort out the extensions properly then I’m happy 😇

Should just do what NZ have done and given everyone with status an extra year (and then another one). Quick and easy and it’s not like it’s going to clog up lounges or cost much but so much administratively easier to do

FYI there seems to a problem with status extensions for some people. I booked a JQ NZ fare that is points earning in Feb (i.e. before 31 March). My Plat status was not extended and dropped to Gold. Been a nightmare to get hold of QF FF but they told me there's a problem with JQ bookings not...

QF processes the J upgrade requests by status level and within status level by fare class from Flex PE down to Saver Y (can't be bothered listing all the fare classes in order). So all the PE -> J upgrades for Plat's are processed before the system looks at Y->J. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
