My cousin used to be a stewardess for MF until she become a mother at the age of 40. I have never flown on it though so I can't comment on their quality or lack thereof.

Maybe we can meet up for a coffee or a snack the night before. Or even dinner Saturday night. I could always cancel my SQ J redemption to fly in Y on Qantas, but whY would I want to do that?

Travelling in Y long haul is humdrum at best and torture at worst. It's acceptable if it's all you can afford with a cash fare, especially to Asia where jet lag is negligible. If they sold upgradable meals, then they would be less of a grind.

4k ex cgk to Europe is a very good deal these days. My planned 2025 trip is to Eastern Europe.... hoping to get a return J saver on SQ for 55k each way dps-ist... IST is technically in Europe!

The seat has reappeared. It took a total of three hours.

NB. Now the seat is no longer showing as available even in the flexi-calendar. Luckily there are still a few almost-as-acceptable redemptions on the couple of days either side of it. If you consider premium economy or routing via Auckland/Fiji as "almost-as-acceptable".

On the flexi-calendar the award is still shown as being available (the red kangaroo sign appears on that date) but when I actually click on the date, it is no longer there. This particular award has been open for weeks so I will be highly angry if it gets truly snatched up in that 1 minute...

It is an international, QF metal award with a short AA connecting flight onward which doesn't add any points cost to the total. There would not be a ref number as I hadn't booked it/not in my shopping basket.
