I just looked up QF9 on Flightradar: surprised to see VH-ZND is over Hoboken: on closer inspection that is the suburb of Antwerp, not New York. The total estimated flight time PER-LHR is 16h53m for 14,498km.

I flew Business class with Asiana Sydney-Seoul-Paris and London-Seoul-Sydney. There was a one-night stopover at the carrier's expense on the outward journey, but I was offered no choice of hotel. It turned out to be in the centre of Seoul, a long bus trip away from the (magnificent) airport...
