    PER-NOU QF J $1267

Good deal for West Coasters in the current QF J sale (ends today). Perth to Noumea via Sydney or Brisbane for $1267 return from October through the end of schedule. Pretty wide selection of dates available. Some days have the Air Calin A330 with angle flat seats. Hope it's of use to some.

US Dividend Miles - Award Booking Questions and General Discussion

Before I knew the rules, I booked BNE-PER-KTA(dest)-PER(stop)-BNE and had it ticketed at the usual 30k. Subsequently I have had similar itineraries denied though.

IHG® Dining Rewards program replacing Priority Privilege from 1st July 2014

How long do the Dining Rewards welcome packs generally take to arrive? I have been waiting for about 6 weeks. Should I give them a call?

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

re: Avianca "Life Miles" - Questions and Discussion Not sure if anyone else has noticed but there is heaps of wide open availability on SQ J outside of the T-14 window for SIN-PER flights, although not PER-SIN. I booked for March with no problems and there is availability almost every flight...

US Dividend Miles - Award Booking Questions and General Discussion

Open jaw is definitely ok - I just did a KTA-PER-SYD/BNE-PER-KTA trip. I have successfully booked a stopover on a domestic trip once before but have been denied many times since. Probably not worth the HUCA effort.

US Dividend Miles - Award Booking Questions and General Discussion

Stopovers and transits will be fine. I have booked an itinerary to Europe with less than 24hr transits in both HKG and NRT on the outbound and it went through with no problem. As for what to do about your return, it is possible to get a hold on your outbound flight of up to 30 days while you...

    USDM booking request

    There's a reasonable amount of availability. The following itinerary is available: 23/10 BNE-HKG CX156 00:55-07:45 (J) 23/10 HKG-LAX CX898 09:30-07:55 (J or F) 13/11 LAX-HKG CX897 08:35-16:15 +1 (J) 15/11 HKG-BNE CX157 12:35-23:20 (J) You have to do a mini-stop in HKG on the way home although...

US Dividend Miles - Oneworld Award Booking Questions and General Discussion

If you have the Qantas PNR (sometimes they will give it to you when ticketing but often you have to request it) then you should be able to do it now. If they haven't given it to you, sometimes it will show up on the booking on the USDM website or you can call back and ask for it.

US Dividend Miles - Oneworld Award Booking Questions and General Discussion

Standard USDM. Just call again - shouldn't be too hard to get that one ticketed. Only potential problem I can see is that the return goes via the Middle East so some agents may try and charge you the ME rate rather than South Asia. Possibly the return could be over MPM but there's nothing I can...

US Dividend Miles - Post Your SUCCESSFUL oneworld bookings here

I'm assuming you're going from Cairns. MPM is pretty generous 12,090 - M25 is 15,112. So even if you can't get the direct from HKG-CDG going through LHR, FRA, HEL or similar would easily be within MPM. You could even go CNS-HKG-DOH-CDG using QR and stay within MPM. Maximum Permitted...

US Dividend Miles - Post Your SUCCESSFUL oneworld bookings here

I was surprised it got through, given the same agent did not allow a domestic itinerary with a stopover (which I've done a quite a few times before with no questions) because that's against the rules. You can never tell with USDM.

US Dividend Miles - Post Your SUCCESSFUL oneworld bookings here

Plenty of JL F availability at Christmas so I booked: SYD-NRT (stopover) NRT-CGK (dest) CGK-NRT NRT-SYD All in F and I don't have to decide between beach and snow. Not bad for 120k miles and $194 taxes.

    Buying Points USDM vs Alaska

Depends on the destination. USDM is much better value to the US but Alaska is better for CX to Hong Kong. USDM generally has more flight options being part of OneWorld, while Alaska has limited options to Australia. Alaska has online booking for most of their partners which is very convenient...
