Just finished reading on smh.com.au that QF may defer 787 deliveries due to the economic downturn. I have travelled a number of flights in the past week and noticed they didn't seem to be as full as previously and the QC lounges didn't seem to have the usual number of people in them. Odds on...

A friend of mine who works at Brisbane airport advised that Virgin Blue are having to pay cash by fuel. This is not good news if they are. Can anyone confirm?

Especially users on this website love to bag Qantas. If this was a negative Qantas thread, it would be over 5 pages of replies. Qantas is always fast to help out when there's a crisis.

I would think that even though passengers would rather fly QF than V Australia, I don't think V Australia will move booked passengers onto QF. Virgin are always bagging QF, so hopefully this delay will teach them a lesson... :lol:

Thanks for sharing your good news with us. Most users on this website only write about negative reports, especially with QF. I have heard a lot of good reports on how well QF look after their top tier members. Like a lot of customer service areas at QF, their premium desk do a wonderful job...

Not very impressive, look as if Virgin have done them on the cheap. Virgin are going to find it very hard if they want to compete with QFs Skybed and Premium Economy superior product.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Emirates service levels are at a all time low. I have flown them twice in the past 18 months and had such a bad experience that I would never fly them again. Don't expect a reply from their customer service area as I am still waiting for mine that I sent 8 months ago...

I have found the Frequent Flyer shop to be of great value. I redeemed my points for a washing machine and it arrived within 7 working days. Also used my points to numerous Myer vouchers. Very impressed. :p And there is no annual fee. The FF store makes Virgins store laughable...
