AFF Community, I’m looking to use my Qantas Frequent Flyer points to find two Emirates First Class Classic Rewards seats from MEL or SYD to Europe (preferably HAM) - one way.
My issue is that there are a lot of options when I search for one seat, however when I search for two seats I don’t see any availability.
Does anyone know if Emirates ever release more than one First Class seat for booking via QFF points?
Looking to hear if you’ve had any luck or can offer any suggestions.
Many thanks.

AIUI, EK only opens one F award at a time to QF.

Thanks for the reply - is there any likelihood of booking one first class seat on the flight and then Emirates releasing another First class seat?
Has anyone out there had that experience?

There is a possibility Emirates may release another First award seat at a later time - but of course you can't be sure about it.

EK carrier charges are insanely expensive too (even in Economy), just another thing to think about.

Thanks MelbFlyer - that would be a very nerve wracking wait ;-)

The even crazier part is the carrier charge being the same whether you fly business or first!

If you're willing to wait until 3-4 days before the flight, that's often when Emirates releases extra First Class awards to Qantas if they haven't been already taken.
Thanks Human - not sure my nerves would be able to cope with running the gauntlet like that :)
