I am booked on a cruise with my 12 y/o in about a week and the stops include Noumea, Lifou and Port Vila... Most cruise activities as usual look over priced so was just thinking of doing some snorkelling and maybe a bit of a walk around any of the towns...

But does anyone have any good activities they know of to do in these places?? Any good WW2 relics about the place for a day trip or things that are easy and cheap to do if the places/towns aren't too spread out??

Last year in Noumea we did a day tour booked thru “tours by locals “. I think the lady we used has moved on ( hubby is in the navy ) but the idea of using local tour guides is good. And a lot cheaper than the tours booked thru the cruise lines.
Lifou is a small island with good snorkeling where the ships moor. No need to buy a bus ride to other side of the island.
Port vila has a big range of activities. Snorkelling does require a boat trip ( even if only 10 minutes to
Iririki island ). Again, Tours by Locals could be worth a look. I lived in Vila a few decades ago. Wrecks are available for scuba dives but too deep for snorkle.
