Hi, has anyone had luck with earlier check-in for Jetstar (beyond the 3 hours as stated on Jetstar website) from SYD T1 international?

I just tried my luck again (annual fee due in ~1 week), was told there was no retention offers as I was given 60k MR points last year. Lady seemed a little rude, don't know if it's worth trying again or AMEX is just getting stingier with their retention offers...

I've spoke to Qantas last week on the phone and brought this up - they said they were aware of the issue and that's about it.. no idea on when it will be rectified etc. She did confirm the correct amount of SC in my account though which was reassuring

Thanks for the update MikeG, shame it had to get escalated to the Ombudsman but good to hear Citibank is chasing them up. I think I might have to follow a similar process to you if I don't get my points soon!

I've had the card open for almost two months and haven't received the 80k points or 80SC yet, I'll wait until next week when my statement comes otherwise I'll give them a call. I was also under the impression any standard purchase qualified for the 80SC, might need to call them to prompt it...

Interesting. I think $3500 is for the current promotion (90k points only), the previous September promotion was $4000 min spend for 80k points + 80k status credits. Might be worth confirming what promotion you're tied to
