Hi all, I am planning to use up some of my QF FF points to travel HKG-LHR F in May 2015. This will be my first 'First' experience. My choices are BA or CX. I love the new CX J seating but not sure if F is that much better.... or maybe BA is better? Any advice welcome. Thanks.

I booked 3 of us BNE-LHR for travel in April. (J class 51,000 pts each) One person is quite ill and won't be able to travel. What happens if I cancel? Do I get taxes refunded? I heard points are not refunded - any other options? Any advice appreciated!

I too booked the same deal as you way back last year for travel in April this year. I tried to change the return date but PR wanted around US$1150 to change it (current J fare pricing). Fortunately I booked the trip as 2 x one-way trips so I will probably cancel the return and look at another...

Philippine Airlines return to LHR from November 4. Business class specials on sale now at US$1400 O/W MNL-LHR for travel until May 31 2014. Travel is on their 777-300ER. Not a bad price.

Re: Couple of AAdvantage questions from a newbie to it I just booked LHR to MEL J class on QF10 one way using AA miles. taxes were A$450. if you fly BA out of LHR you will pay around A$700.

Just booked 2 of us one way BNE-LHR using Enrich points. Great value at 51000 points and $450 surcharges/taxes each. Had no problem selecting seats 7A/7B on the A380 during the booking process. This seems to be in a smaller cabin at the front. Anyone experienced seats in this section? The A330...

Re: Couple of AAdvantage questions from a newbie to it Just did this exact booking for May 2014 - QF9/10 in J. Taxes in total ~AUD500. Be aware that you need to change your AA FF number on the booking to your QF FF number before you can access the 'good' seats available to QF WP.

Re: Couple of AAdvantage questions from a newbie to it You are right! Just paid online and left postcode field blank. No problems! I noticed it actually said 'postal code only required for US, Canada and UK. So I think no need now to use a made-up US zipcode.

Re: Couple of AAdvantage questions from a newbie to it I have just put on hold 2 x J flights LHR-BNE using QF10/QF604. Is it possible to add QF FF number so that I can select seats using 'my bookings' on QF website? The AA system won't accept my credit card online so I guess I need to call them...
