Flight to Malaysia (KL) - looking to spend lowest amount of points

Cheapest I can find is a SYD-DPS-SIN-KUL on Jetstar/Jetstar Asia for 21,500 points + $137.56 in taxes. Managed an example on 16 Nov. But may involve an overnight in DPS or SIN on the way, depending on your travel days.

QF A330 long haul in whY

I can confirm that the A333s do indeed have the netted footrests... because that's my photo! I find I don't use them all that much though... a little flimsy. I'm 179cm and find it more comfortable stretching out under the seat in front.

    Taken Qantas Lounge Invitations

It actually is on Jetstar... how would that work though?

    Taken Qantas Lounge Invitations

How hard and fast are these expiry dates? I have a friend flying on the 29th... I'm guessing a pass that expires on the 28th wouldn't be assignable?

Alaskan airlines SC Earn with Qantas Frequent Flyer

I think I've answered my own question. Alaska joined OW in April 2021, so that's probably the event that's altered the earn chart since that article was written. Ignore me...

Alaskan airlines SC Earn with Qantas Frequent Flyer

Sorry to hijack this thread but I think it's relevant. I'm finding some conflicting information about Economy Saver (X) on AS. This article says that it earns no points: However the earn category chart for AS on the Qantas website lists X as earning discount economy points and SCs: One...

MH J Award using QFF Points (intra-Asia)

Can you see availability if you only search for 1 seat? IME MH only releases a single J award seat on many intra-Asia flights. I tried calling up QF to get a second seat on KUL-BKK but to no avail - they said it was all MH made available. I did notice that more seats did become available a...

Qantas apologises to frequent flyers with status extensions, lounge passes, points & more reward seats

Me too, removed some time this last weekend. I got my 30,000 points a few weeks ago and the agent on the phone stressed that I must not use the DBL passes because they would be taken away in a few weeks, "some time in October". I took it as nothing more than a stern finger wag but there you go.

Qantas apologises to frequent flyers with status extensions, lounge passes, points & more reward seats

Called up yesterday to ask about the same and today received a near identical email and the 30,000 points. They did stress not to use the DBL passes and that it may take some time ("probably October") for them to be removed from my account.

Qantas Status Credits when flying Malaysia Airlines

Ok I am very confused by all this. From the chart, you'd think that I and Z were the only fares affected. A few weeks ago, I had a pre-COVID ticket rebooked onto a KUL-DPS-KUL itinerary with Z outbound and D back. The Z credited with the expected 30 SCs automatically. Due to a bugger-up of my...

Qantas apologises to frequent flyers with status extensions, lounge passes, points & more reward seats

Newly minted AU-based WP and haven't seen any points. I received my email with a Gold heading, lounge invitations and no offer of points. At the top of the email it says: I moved up from SG to WP on... 19 Aug! Currently have about 1600 SCs under my belt with a Jan 31 anniversary, so I guess...

    Qantas domestic economy meals

Am I the only one who struggles to eat this without cutlery? These days I decline it as it's just too messy... I'm clearly too uncoordinated.

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

Just be prepared with some backup options as the availablity shown to agents sometimes doesn't match up with what's shown on the website. I've been lucky getting the same flights a day either side so far though. YMMV. As always, some flexibility is needed in your planning.
