Flying REX in J MEL-SYD this week and for morning tea had warmed scones with jam and cream, sandwiches and a cake. It was absolutely light years ahead of what Qantas offer. Also pre departure beverages, juice and sparkling water. Why can't Qantas get this right?
To be honest it's very hard to find a J seat on Qantas within 3 hours of departure on Qantas most days on Mel Syd as I have found every time I've been cancelled and traveling business.
Update, now an SMS saying everything is back to the original schedule. Talk about an emotional roller coaster, I was just about to reschedule all my plans in London for Sunday!

1. Flight delayed until 14:35 31 MAR but arriving 31 MAR on time at 07:15
1 minute later
2. Flight delayed until 23:25 on 31 MAR (24 hour departure delay) but arriving 31 MAR with just a 20 minute delay at...
Good luck getting the points. I've spent this whole month trying to get a refund of points for an upgrade where the flight was subsequently cancelled and I was rebooked to later flight in economy. Utterly hopeless for something that should be so simple
Recently my on departure upgrade flight was cancelled and was rebooked into Y. Syd J Lounge said upgrade points would be refunded automatically. Of course they haven't been. Called the FF centre and asked for refund, told would happen within a few days. Still not done days later. Just pathetic...
